CATERPILLAR (FROM 2 YEARS OLD)
Our Caterpillar room is for our 2 year olds. It is generally a quieter room where settling is made easier. Your child will move onto the Bumblebee room once we feel they are ready.
As they progress they will have time in the Bumblebee room where they will mix with other children and staff before they move up.
The activities are age appropriate for the children, each classroom has areas which promote their learning from the EYFS.

Nap Time
The Caterpillar room turns into a calm space after lunch where we have cots and beds for those children who wish to sleep.
SEPTEMBER 2025
From September 2025, Stepping Stones Pre-School will be under new ownership.
After 20 years of service, Lisa Carlton is handing Stepping Stones' ownership over to Foxes Piece School.
